Radar-PTZ Linkage Technology

Technical Principle

The radar continuously scans the monitoring area over a wide range, acquiring real-time motion information of targets including range, speed, and azimuth. When the radar detects incidents such as abnormal stop, reverse drive, or accidents, it immediately pushes the precise coordinates of the target to the edge computing unit, which drives the nearest dome camera to automatically pan, tilt, and zoom, locking onto the target and starting high-definition recording and snapshot capture for visual evidence. The entire process responds within milliseconds, forming an automated closed loop of “radar detection – dome camera confirmation – platform recording – coordinated handling”.

Key Features

  1. All-weather wide-area sensing – Millimeter-wave radar unaffected by lighting, rain, snow, or fog, continuously scanning the monitoring area to compensate for environmental limitations of dome cameras.

  2. Millisecond-level precise positioning – Radar outputs real-time target range, speed, and azimuth, instantly locking coordinates upon incident trigger to drive rapid dome camera movement.-

  3. Automated linkage for evidence capture – Dome camera automatically zooms and focuses based on radar coordinates, capturing high-definition video and snapshots without manual operation.

  4. End-to-end low-latency closed loop – From radar detection to dome camera confirmation and platform recording, the entire process responds within milliseconds, forming an automated closed loop of “sensing – linkage – evidence capture – reporting”.

  5. Visual evidence support – High-definition video and images captured by the dome camera provide reliable visual evidence for incident handling, accident traceability, and law enforcement. 雷球联动12.png
